The treatments work in partnership with your body 24/7.

Unlike other forms of hormone therapy, there are virtually no side effects.

I get horrible headaches, will this help me?
Yes! Hormone Therapy has had great success with hormonally related headaches.

Why doesn’t my doctor suggest BHRT as an option?
The vast majority of physician training is on synthetic hormones.
More than likely they were never trained on the use of Bio-Equivalent hormone therapy.

If I am a woman, do I still need estrogen?
Bio-Equivalent absorbable estrogen is the most important hormone for a woman
to protect her against heart attack, stroke, as well as osteoporosis and
Alzheimer’s.

Synthetic estrogen taken orally does not offer universal benefits.

If I receive an estrogen pellet and have not had a hysterectomy, why do I need to take progesterone?

Progesterone stabilizes and protects the lining of your uterus.  You must not stop taking the progesterone without discussing it with your doctor.  If you have had a hysterectomy, progesterone is not required.

As a woman, why do I need testosterone?
Testosterone gives a woman her mental clarity, libido, improved sense of well being and muscle tone. Without it, women often complain of mental confusion, weight gain, and weak muscle growth even with regular exercise.

As a man, why do I need testosterone?
Testosterone is one of the essential hormones a man possesses.
Without it, fatigue, anxiety, depression, loss of mental clarity and libido occur. Furthermore, a deficiency in testosterone may lead to prostate problems, poor sexual performances, loss of muscle tone and mass, and the potential to develop osteoporosis.

Are there special instructions after having the pellets inserted?

Yes.  You should avoid swimming pools, hot tubs, or exercise for several days.  Following these instructions are essential for preventing infection or extrusion of the pellets.
